Lister House Surgery

We have completed a wall renovation project in Derby for a surgery which consisted of large stonework.
The boundary of the surgery was 80m and had started to crack and bulge over time; potentially becoming a dangerous structure for the pedestrians.
The work involved was to take down the areas of stonework and rebuild the wall. However, not as easy as it sounds. All the stones had to be numbered in order for them to go back into the same position.
A lot of the stone copings had cracked too which meant we had to source reclaimed ones to match.
Whilst the works were being carried out, we had to ensure the safety of all the pedestrians still using the pavement as well as the visitors to an extremely busy surgery. Thankfully, all went to plan.
We, and the client, think this is a job well done!
